What Should I Know About Omaha, NE Before Moving?

I'm currently living in Portland, OR and am looking into moving out to Omaha with my husband. We are a young, active couple. He is a Network Admin and I am a Database Analyst/Manager. We are looking for a upbeat, open-minded environment with lots of outdoor activities to do on the weekends. We also hope to set up jobs and a place before we move. If you have any helpful information pertaining to culture, job market, activities, etc., please let me know.
