Anyone want to have an adult conversation about the Israeli/Palestinian conflict?
Ok, So I had a previous similar question but everyone was scrutinizing the question too much I dont think people got the main message. Im a 15 year old Israeli Jew who believes Israel should have the right to exist. I want to have an adult conversation on Facebook or even here on YA! Messanger although it would be easier to do it on Facebook because then it could flow. People think I'm just trying to get with an Iranian girl but if you see my Facebook I am 15. Im going to be a Junior in Highschool and I already have a girlfriend. So if you are interested in having an adult conversation just say something and I will message you and maybe give you my Facebook address. On Facebook I am 15, you could see it without even being my friend on it because I dont have privacy setting on. I am just sick of all the hate! I think I would like you if I knew you. My family lives in Southern Israel near Gaza and a man died just yesterday from rockets in that town. I don't hate Palestinians. I hate Hamas for what they are doing. I am sure an average palestinian family would be just as loving and caring as mine. I dont know why we can't coexist. I know I am going to get a lot of ignorant answers and I know some of them are from Pro-Zionists as well. I read comments like "Arabs are like viruses, Nuke Em'" I also read comments that said "There would be peace without Israel. Looks like hitler didn't finish up his job" Its stuff like that that just doesn't make sense. I personally believe Hamas is behind all of problems in the middle east. If Hamas didn't send that suicide bomber to kill 8 innocent people in Israel there wouldn't have been all of those strike on both sides. If Hamas didn't smuggle in rockets to shoot at Israel there wouldn't have been the blockade on Gaza and the Turkey problem wouldn't have happened and Palestine could have been a good trading port for the Palestinians but Hamas ruined it. A country cannot let its neighbor just bomb its citizens. There wouldn't have been Cast Lead or anything if Hamas wasn't dangerous. If Hamas was a better example Palestine would have had a good shot in the UN next month. This is why I really want to talk to someone to discuss these thinks and know what you are thinking. I dont like it when innocent Israeli citizens are dying and I also really dont like seeing innocent Palestinians dying as well. We all feel responsable. Please no ignorant answers and don't scrutinize my question in some way. Its just a question. You understand the basic idea. Lets show the world we could be different and not be like "Winter Summer"

I believe in the Declaration of Human Rights that gives every nation people the legitimate right to establish self-governance and self-determination. The modern state of Israel does not need to base it’s legitimacy on a belief of promise from God, even though many claim that is it’s only reason for legitimacy. Every... More

Without the need for a wall of text, Israel has the Palestinians imprisoned in ghettos, all under the pretense of biblical claims. Nobody cares for Palestinians because they are not white, end of story.

I'll have to decline your offer to have an extended conversation, but there are a few things I'd like to point out about your question. You blame Hamas for the problems in the Palestine/Israel conflict, but Hamas is only the representation of more fundamental issues. There are deep ideological differences that are... More

I agree with you totally. Hamas and other factions like al quaida have the normal Palestinian citizen afraid to stand up and say stop. it does not help that nearly every arabic country backs Hamas and believes the lies that Israel is the aggressor in every conflict. I have been watching the ongoing war(and lets face... More

Glad to hear that you want to see things change. There could be a two state solution, but neither side wants the other to have any claim to Jerusalem or one wants to divide it and the other doesn't. If you really want to solve the problem you can start promoting the idea of a two state solution that leaves Jerusalem a... More

well kid i would have talked with you about it, but it would be quite boring, our ideas about the issue seems to be extremely similar, and i'm also an israeli jew, only 2 years older then you are. אחי רק תקח עצה אחת ממני, אל תקשיב לכל השטויות שאתה קורא באינטרנט, יש פה אנשים משונים לאללה.

Here's a solution: Make 2 states with the PROPOSED 1967 borders and then give every Israeli and Palestinian dual citizenship.
