X-ray technology-Radiology, need advice thank you?

I came across an article that says white men will find it the the most difficult to land a job as an x-ray tech, once he finishes school...... then i came across another article that totally contradicted it, saying if your a white male you have better chance them women...due to strength, and women may get pregnant and its unsafe for their bodies.....both were saying the market was flooded with x-ray techs, even though every chart i seen online for the demand of this career is trending upwards till 2016.... so my question is, does your gender have much of an impact on getting hired in this field? any other info you tell me will be helpful we well, thank you

Not only is it flooded but now medical assistants are being trained for basic x-rays and that seems to be good enough for offices that offer x-rays. I see probably as many women in x-ray as men. Especially in the supervisor department. So there is no preferences.

The field is flooded, so you're lucky to get a job no matter what gender you are. I don't see any difference in male vs. female getting hired.
