how can i get a green card extension if i have no job to pay for it?

Ive heard that I can get an extension to my expired green card if I have no job to pay for my renewal. Does anyone know what the form is called? Ive gone to immigration offices and they look at me like im crazy when i ask for that form. Em I Crazy? =[ I dont have a job to get my new renewal. can i still apply?

If your 10 year green card is going to expire you file I-90. If your 2 year green card is going to expire you file I-751.

Your status does not change just because the card expired. It just means that you cannot travel.

Send the I-90 with the I-912 they will either reject it or accept it
