Is it a Scam? none return address with cheque then sending cash to western union?

Hello, I`ve got an email few days ago saying that he saw my resume in kijiji and he wanted me to be a housekeeper 3hrs per day and He will pay me $500 per week. He said that he is in Kabul and a captain of an army who will move here in Canada for his promotion. He also said that he will end me $1000 for me to rebate my 1st week and the rest will be for other expenses. He said to wait for the cheque and he will give me further instructions. I received a cheque from United States Treasury for the amount of $4500 instead of $1000 only. There was no return address from the mail and he said that he suppose to come last week but now he is telling me that the ticket money is in the $4500 that he sent me and now he wants me to send $3100 to his agent on UK by Western Union which sounds pretty fishy from the start. now I deposited the check on my bank account and its on hold but he thinks i can cash it out in just one click. Can anybody help me with the step that I should do? any advises for it? I have been victim of a scammer once and I don`t wanna happen again. What happens is they send you more then the amount and have you deposit it and then have you cash out the remaining balance and send it back to them. Meanwhile the ticket is under review with WU. After you deposit the rest and send it to the... More
