Robots make cars now, very few people do, so technology allows more cars to be made in less time, but it also eliminated the need for workers. Even teachers are being replaced by computers. say a company making cars, without tech they make one car a day. with tech they can make one car every hour. say a farmer has to get the patatoes in takes him a week to clear one field. now he has a tractor to gather them he can do the field in one day

Technology has removed all the physical work from it, which is a big part if it. People aren't as motivated because to them technology will get them through life so why need to do anything strenuous. Today not as many people do physical jobs because of technology too.
