is it safe driving nissan exterra w/200,000 miles on it hauling a small trailer on a 1600 mile trip?

I have a good job offer but I need to take my equipment witth me and it is 1600 miles there and back. The oil is changed regularly and my tires are good. All fluids are full. I am taking my family with me to see the area and if the job is good we will move there.

It sounds like you take care of your car - but with 200,000miles on it, it's a huge risk. It may be costly but hiring a car is much better than breaking down on the motorway, back to square 1 again.

Never any guarantees, but if your Nissan is well maintained and properly prepared for the trip, I don't see any reason not to try it.
