Why aren't people in the projects allowed to go to college?

How are they supposed to get good paying jobs?

It is sad that those children who live in the projects are vilified by their peers if they attempt to do well in school. They are accused of trying to play for the "MAN" and are met after school to be taught the real lessons in life. Learning math, english and science is not on the curriculum of the renegade children... More

They are, but a poor public education system and bad parenting create less incentive to get good grades and be given full financial aid to the many colleges that would be willing to do that.

You first have to have the grades from high school to even think of going to college. When you're out on the corner selling crack, you can't make the grades , now can you?

They are allowed to, they just need to have grads good enough to get scholarships, grants or have the money to pay for it.

WHOEVER DID NEEDS TO GO TO SCHOOL MAYBE! get thier facts straight...collage is money everyone pays for it...so maybe its because they don't wanna spend money on that and want other to pay for it?....they don't ask where u grew up on a collage... They are but the US doesn't have a good system to support education. I think people should receive a free college education based upon their scholastic record. If they are a good student and want to learn they should be given a free college education if not they can flip burgers at mickey d's. Sports ability should not... More
