Is working the cash register easy?

My brother is gonna apply at Burlington Coat Factory soon. Just wanted to know because he has dyslexia but doesn't like to show/tell anyone, and didn't want him getting stressed out too much about giving someone the wrong amount of money. NOTE: to anyone who has worked the register.

Im slightly dyslexic and had a job in a conveinience store for a couple of years. I never had a problem and it was fast paced work. Burlington Coat Factory would be pretty slow comparatively so it should be cake. And monotonous money counting routines will probably help him focus.

well I am sure at the burlington coat factory he will be ok because hes not like hes doing 10 orders a minute like people do at mcdonalds. he just has to make sure 100% hes giving the right amt of money as its serious if he doesn't.

His dyslexic will not effect his abilty to count out money! unless he has Dyscalculia. If so all he need to do before going to get the cash out of the register is read to the person how much they are to get back and if he got it wrong most people will say something. Then check the number agian before handing the money... More
