Becoming Certified Surgical Technologist and Clinical Rotation Help!?

I am going to a CAAHEP Acreddited Surgical Technology program and am 3 weeks from going to Clinical Rotation. My question is that I am going to a Comprehensive Outpatient Surgery Center in Beverly Hills as my Rotation Site and not a real hospital. Will that affect me in anyway to finding a job? I mean as it is, the CST field is hard to find work in but will that make it worse? I asked them to change my site but they refuse. My classmates are all going to hospitals like Marina Del Rey, Kaiser Permanente, Saint Francis etc.. My grades are not A's but 89%B+ I always miss it by one point. I am in the top 5 people in my class but got that as my site. The other classmate that is going to beverly has a 70% overall grade. That is really low.. That site does a lot of plastic/reconstructive surgery and some othropedic surgery/ general. I wonder, will this be enough good experience and cases to give me an edge in this field or is only just plastic surgery/ orthopedics cases bad? Also, if I am willing to move, is it easier to find a job as a CST somewhere else? Please Help me! Also, I am going to Concorde Career College. It is a good college and have enjoyed my experience there. Thanks You guys!

Honestly, the fact that you received your training in a CAAHEP accredited program and pass the certification exam are going to be... More
