What is the difference between a AA with a paralegal certificate or a bachelors in paralegal?

I'm just wondering if the paralegal certificate would actually get me a legal assistant job, which is not what im going for. Is there a difference between the one year extra of school? For jobs, pay, ect? I have my AA and I'm wondering what step I should take to become a paralegal.

The quick answer would be about 2 years less class work but I don't think there actually is a "Bachelors Degree in Paralegal Studies". Once you receive a certificate you meet the basic requirements for the paralegal job and do not need a professional license, in fact many law firms do not even require the certificate.
