Why do people give me shit for drinking PBR?

A while back I made a "beer lineup" and tried a bunch out to see what I liked the best (everything from Busch to Boston Lager). PBR and Budweiser won the test, so now pretty much all I drink for beer is PBR and Bud. Everyone gives me shit because PBR is a "hipster beer". Why the hell does it matter? If it tastes good drink it. Am I wrong?

Its junk. Its not real beer. It doesn't taste like real beer. If you had a real foreign export stout or a real doppelbock you would collapse in understanding. Not rubbish plastic factory lager.

PBR is a great beer. Ironically, the two brewers that I know both occasionally drink PBR. It's a refreshing beer.

it is "considered" a hipster beer because back in the day, like in the 90's lol, college kids drank it a lot because it is pitifully cheap and a lot of them were hipsters. I personally don't like Pabst, but i don't think it has anything to do with who you are. I'm more of a Dos Equis man myself.

Drink what you like and to hell with what others think. They are probably drinking the same sort of mass-produced "beer", made with rice and maize, just a different brand.
