Help finding jobs in HR?

I think my situation might be unique to others trying to find work in HR or maybe I’m wrong. Well a little history about my situation. I have a bachelor of arts in history from Ohio State and recently received my masters of science in human resources from Golden Gate University this past spring. My work experience has not been exactly in HR. When I first graduated from OSU I jumped around for job to job. I finally stayed with a position as a pension administrator for two and a half years. Then a little over two years ago I started working for Towers Watson (large HR consulting firm) as a pension analyst where I help to administer pension plans and help actuaries value defined benefit plans. Don’t have any experience within a HR department however I feel that I have experience dealing with some HR functions (mostly benefits). I have been looking at various HR departments for positions but with no luck. I’m wondering if anyone would have any advice for me. I would greatly appreciate your input. Thank You.
