A question for Americans?

Firstly greetings from the UK. Why are American consumers feeding the Dragon that is consuming your industry, economy and the prosperity of working Americans? Why has America allowed iconic brands like Spap-On, Gibson, Guild, Swanson and dozens of others that Americas fantastic industrial heritage were built on be high jacked by the terrorist regime that is China? Why with all the jobs that have been lost, factories derelict and communities decayed do you still buy Chinese goods? I know British consumers have sold out, but with the legendary patriotism of the USA, what is happening?
