How should you maintain your car when you're a pizza delivery driver?
i work at my local papa romanos as a delivery boy. a lot of people have said it'll ruin your car, and i really dont want that to happen. but i enjoy delivering pizzas (driving around for cash? hell yeah!). does anyone have any good tips on preventing my vehicle from being damaged by this job? what should i do to maintain it?

Do the pure synthetic lubricants like oil, transmission fluid, powersteering fluid, brake fluid. And keep the coolant serviced like every two years do a drain and fill. In summer months, say March 1st to November 1st, you can run a 20W50 oil and switch back to a 5w30 or 10w30 in the winter months... More

Just drive sanely. No jack-rabbit starts and stops. Put it this way; drive like you have a soda on the console that you don't want to spill. Use the "Severe service" maintenance schedule. Replace the coolant, oil, and transmission fluid on time. They are the life-blood of your engine, literally. It is making you money... More

Make sure to check up your vehicle every week. The guarantee will not hold up because your vehicle is commercially use. Be prepared to change vehicles every few months. I delivered professionally years ago.
