Where should i look for houses in Washington DC?
I got a job working in DC and i'm looking for homes to move me and my daughter to. the school district i don't mind because she will be doing home schooling. i just want it to be a safe neighborhood and preferable under 300,000 and new construction it can be in suburbs near by as well.

Look on Realtor.com and check out what's available in the Northwest (NW) quadrant of the city. In that price range, you'll be looking at condos rather than townhouses or detached homes, but there are some lovely areas.
