Is it worth it to pay the $199 to get a job with Hospital Recruiting Partners?

I have been unemployed since last fall and have not been able to get any work. I used up almost all of my savings and was barely able to pay my rent this month. Things are so bad that I have been getting canned food to eat from church pantries. I called my grandmother and she will let me use her credit card to get a job with Hospital Recruiting Partners. So far they are the only company that responded to my resume after all of this time. I have a BA in English from Texas A&M at College Station and have 5 years of teaching experience. I was really happy to get an email from this company for an interview. I went to their webinar and to get a job as an executive recruiter with them you have to pay a training fee of $199. I'm young and single but believe that this is the only way I will be able to pay next months rent. My mother is dying of cancer and I don't have any other family to help me. I feel like the people at Hospital Recruiting Partners are my angels:) Is it bad to borrow money from a grandparent for a job? My grandmother lives in a nursing home and does not have a lot of money but she wants to see me do better than she did. My grandmother and mother had it tough when my mother was growing up. Now I am a single mother with no money and no other options. Nan is disappointed that I lost my teaching job. She said that I could use her credit card just for this and that I could pay it off once I get the job.

Before laying out that kind of money with your money problems I would find out how you get paid after the training. Is it salary, by the hour or based on how many you sign up AKA piece work. If it not a definite income each week or 2 weeks I would forget it. Many years ago i accepted a position doing service work, I... More
