I have filed for divorce, but now I am considering an anullment based on GC Fraud?

I married someone for the marriage, but it is evident now that my husbands priority was always the GC. I have 2 children, a home, and a good job. I filed for divorce because an attorney thought it would cost too much to file for an anullment, but the more I think about the circumstances, it seems an anullment would be more appropriate than a divorce. Is it possible for me to file this on my own? I have already paid court fees for divorce. Thank you.

An annulment is a VERY difficult thing to get. And, since you have already paid the court fees, if you change now you will look indecisive and "flighty". NOT a good opinion for the judge to ave of you! Save the money, stick with the divorce.

This can be a difficult task. Also if the marriage is annulled, there will be some complications in obtaining child support... More
