What is Occupy Boston and the other "Occupy" groups for?

I don't understand what this "Occupy" movement is. I have asked people that are part of Occupy Boston, but then I hear things on the radio that don't add up to what other people are saying. I'm confused... what is the protest exactly against?

A lot of different people have their own reasons for taking part but I think the overarching reason for most people is corporate greed, how government is run by corporations and how the little guy is getting his ass kicked from both sides.

They're a bunch of lazy buttholes who cant get a job so they are protesting. Don't try to "occupy" with them because i am planning on getting a car and driving right over all of them. I am gonna laugh when they freeze to death because i heard the government is like shutting off their generators or something like that... More
