Can employers doing a background check see my juvenile records?

I live in Virginia and I just recently landed a job with Aramark as a banquet server. They said they would need to run a background check before I could do my training. I have 2 assaults and 3 drunk in public charges that I got all before I turned 18. I went to juvenile jail for one charge, and I'm still on probation for it. I'm not sure if my records are sealed or not? Will my employers be able to see?

Not unless a judge ordered them to be sealed. All past records, juvenile or not, are available for a background check. It really depends on what they search for and how thorough the company they use is.

yah probably, i would of let your employers know about that kind of thing before a background check... show a little integrity because right now your record makes you look like some kind of unruly thug.

Yes, they can. And if you did something like Assault and Drunk in public UNDER 18, you will need to prove hard that you are better (which I hope you are).

You should have told them about your record on the application or at the interview. You'll likely be fired once they run a background check and see you weren't totally honest.
