Is it appropriate to drop my dentist a thank-you note through Facebook?

My dentist did a great job and I'd like to thank her. My next appointment is an eternity away though so a convenient and fast way would be to send a thank-you note through Facebook. Is it appropriate though? Will it make her feel great (which is the point) or will it make me look like a stalker and scare her off?

I think it's appropriate. But if youre just doing it because you like her and you don't wanna look like a stalker and scare her off, don't even bother sending her a message. But why would it not be ok to say hey blah blah thanks for working on my teeth, I love your work, blah blah. Don't ask if you can be inside her... More

i dont think its appropiate to do this. just a thank you when you were at the dentist is enough. Its their job which they get paid far too much for!
