Can we hire for custom windows but install ourselves?

We have a broken window which is a custom job. We can install ourselves but we need to order it in particular... Do window companies do this? Do they charge to have it made an leave it with you or do they make you let them install it?

You can buy a custom window and put it in yourself. just make sure you get proper measurements..............

You can install custom windows by yourself. It would save you a lot of money. You can also order windows online and have them shipped, which can also save you additional money. Make sure you have sufficient knowledge to install the windows and then go for it!

Yes, a reputable company will build custom windows to order that you can install yourself. Make sure you have enough clearance between the framing and the window to allow for expansion and shimming for level and plumb. Typically, 1/4" around each edge is nominal clearance... More
