I'm a sophomore in high school and...?

I want to become an engineer (Chemical or Electrical) and I was wondering which classes I should be taking and such. Classes I have taken for Math: Algebra1, Geometry, Algebra2, I am currently in Pre-calculus. For science I have taken: Chemistry and am currently taking Biology. I want to go to CU Boulder and that would work well because I like it there, and I have a place to stay (Family). I want to eventually move to California and live there. so part 1 of my question is; Which classes should I take. &Part 2 of my question is; How easy or hard would it be for me to move to Cali and start new, no family to stay with, and how hard would it be to get a job in engineering in Cali? I am also considering the military, specifically USAF. Not sure if that makes a difference, I just need opinions. Im not sure but some people might think that I might be a bit young to think about this but better to think now and be chill about it and keep my options open than be flipping out my JR or SR year. I just need help and opinions.
