How to become a plumber in Massachusetts?

I have one simple question that clearly nobody knows how to answer in the state of Massachusetts. How do i become a plumber, I am a freshmen in college studying criminal justice, but I want to change careers into plumbing. What are the steps I take being a kid with not experience?

Here are the steps: 1.) Become stupid. 2.) Quit college. 3.)Cry every night wondering why you didn't chose a legitimate job that pays good. 4.) An hero. EDIT: I put two and two together and got four. Vinny + criminal justice = My Cousin Vinny. I see what you did there, good job.
