Does BEC(basics electronics course) help land good jobs? Does it teach you to build radios or fix them?

I am going to enlist as a 2844 ground radio repair man in the Marines Corps and i want to know if this is a good job, i like it and it seems real coo. Of course becoming a Marine is more important but i just wanna know, and is graduating top of yiur class hard? Im a smart seed but do I have to.be albert einstein?

Most electronics are replaced rather than fixed due to the high cost of repair and cost of parts and labor. Also electronics are improved so fast that they are out of date by the time they fail.
