Are my priorities straight right now?

I'm 22, male, I graduated from college a year ago with a specialized business degree. I worked in the semiconductor industry for 5 months, picked up some business and technical skills, and got laid off like the rest of my coworkers. I promised myself two things after that: 1) I would never do a job I hated again, even if it paid well and 2) I would never be in a position where I would be dispensable to my organization. I got an internship soon after by a very large American company which I will not say the name of. Although I got an offer from Honeywell Aerospace for a fulltime position, I turned it down because I knew I'd like this company better... even if it started as an internship for $13 per hour. It was a big sucker punch financially to take this internship, but I am performing well. There was no business intelligence solutions in my department, and everyone was frustrated by it. I immediately recognized this need, and I read at least a dozen books on business intelligence system development and taught myself .NET programming. I love doing it too, I sometimes feel I can't stop engaging with it. It was a matter of weeks before I automated several man hours out of people's work days. All my coworkers swore up and down how brilliant I am, and that only pressured me to keep building my knowledge to live up to their hype. Eventually, I'm being pulled all over the company in several departments to consult and develop solutions. Word got around that I can reduce 4 hour tasks to 5 seconds, and I have an endless queue of projects now, many of them not even in my own department. I'm still getting paid $13 an hour while I do all this, and my internship is coming to an end. My boss is intent on keeping me and so is his boss, and his boss' boss. It's not official and I believe its remiss to say this without an offer but the job is probably mine. I never get confident however and I still work 75-80 hours a week sharpening my skillsets and bettering my technical skills. It's weird though sometimes. Although I intend to loosen up and have fun once I get a salary again, a few of my coworkers don't understand my die-hard work ethic. They kind of figured out I don't do much on the weekends (I read books for my job). They tell me I should go party, get some booze, and go clubbing. I don't do any of that because it's just not me (I don't even drink because I think its bad for my fitness and thought processes). I just politely say "Not a bad idea, maybe I'll do that this weekend." and never do it. They know though, and it kills them that I don't act like I'm 22. I do wonder though, what if they are right? I don't have any "fun" but I consider my work fun so I spend all my time doing it. Truth is I'm so broke there is not much "fun" I can afford to do anyways. I'd love to travel, find a nice girl, and have a nice house where I can throw parties. But that's all I want, and I can't afford to do any of that until I become established. Are my priorities straight? Am I really that lame?
