A male ultrasound technician?

I am a 17 year old male interested in becoming an ultrasound technician. My question is, would it be awkward for a male to give ultrasounds? this is not the bottom line of my decision, but I'm curious to see how people feel about it as it seems like a job that is typically filled by women.

Don't let your sex affect your career choice. I do know many male ultrasound techs. I also know many excellent male... More
