When people say Illegals take jobs from Americans, does that mean employers hire them instead?

There is no way the illegals can TAKE the jobs away from Americans, the American employer has to give the job to the illegal. Why would they do that to all the unemployed Americans?

Because illegals work for $3 an hour. So it is true that Americans won't do some jobs. Specifically, jobs that pay $3 an hour.

Yoiu're right Chuck. It isn't the Illegals I blame...I'd do it too. It's the lure Government and Unions create to bring them here. Government provides a goodie bag of free stuff, Unions make US workers uncompetitive here and abroad.

Many employers hire illegals since they can get them to work cheaper and many are good workers and they don't make waves on the jobsite. If illegals are working construction jobs them fewer jobs are open to citizens. This has happenned so much in some states that they stopped offering construction trades education... More
