What course should I take in university if I like programming?

There are so many computer-related courses and I actually don't know what's the difference between the courses. Eg. computer science, software engineering, information technology, advanced computing I would like to create a game/software in the future, so what course should I take? Im interested in learning C language and java

Every college's program is unique and sometimes the names of the computer related majors overlap focusing on different areas at each college, so you really should look at the program description and curriculum requirements to see the detailed differences with each of those majors at your school... Start by taking a general computer science course. Then talk to a professor or academic adviser about your options for a major. Some colleges have programs specifically in game design.

Consult a book on college majors. Your public library should have it; your high school may have it as well.
