Should I obtain a Graduate Degree in Biostatistics?
Hi, I am currently a Statistics and Econ major at an accredited Big Ten university. I was considering going into biostats after graduation, but I am trying to decide what path to take. What I am trying to figure out is: a) Masters or Phd? I've heard both are decent, but a Phd is harder to get into and uses up time I could be working, but has the added advantage of extra education. and b) What does the job outlook appear to be? I know that the medical field is rising, but how about biostatistician jobs? Thanks!

If you go into Biostats, then I have respect for you because I HATE NUMBERS!!! Haha I hate math, but more power to you...By the way, if you want to choose between a master's and a Ph.D then GO ALL THE WAY...GET THAT Ph.D!!!! Make momma and daddy proud!!!
