Possible Aerospace Engineer?

Okay... so i'm a junior, and have decided that i really want to be an aerospace engineer. But... i need some help. Math is my overall best subject, and a did exceptionally well in physics. If anyone could tell me good colleges to go to for this, or possibly an average life in the day of... or even if you think i have a shot, your help would be greatly appreciated. Also, i live in new york, and do not mind going to a college far away, so don't worry about that. Lastly, is it possible to be an aerospace engineer in NY? Just curious. Thank you for all the help in advance!
