How to make my resume stand out against others for a retail position at Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, and AT&T?

So I am applying at Verizon Wireless, Sprint, AT&T, and T-Mobile for a sales position, and am just wanting to know any tips to help my cover letter and resume stand out against the others. Any and all information/tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
