How to make my resume stand out against others for a retail position at Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, and AT&T?
So I am applying at Verizon Wireless, Sprint, AT&T, and T-Mobile for a sales position, and am just wanting to know any tips to help my cover letter and resume stand out against the others. It may sound lame, but I have always wanted to work in the mobile industry since I am a complete cell phone nerd, and I would really love to work for one of these companies. Any and all information/tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I've been recruiting for nearly 20 years now; first of all, cover letters are severely overrated - most people don't even bother to read them. Make sure your resume contains a skills summary at the very top - include things like sales, customer service, any popular computer programs you're comfortable with, etc - and... More
