Have a bachelors in Biomedical Science, would earning my RN and EMT-Paramedic be a good idea?

Why not both, I've seen RN, paramedics always seemed interesting to me to be able to be both. I don't think I have any interest in becoming a firefighter at this time...maybe down the road at some point. Right now, I mainly interested in gaining a degree/skill set that would provide me with a stable job and source of income.

(Not both - just one. New grad RNs don't get hired to work in ER normally.) With your BA, go for the Accelerated BSN program. It will take you only one year to get your BSN (providing that you have all the pre-nursing classes).
