How do you deal with awful customer service?
Have you ever experienced terrible customer service? For example, a cashier who does not acknowledge a customer and just acts hostile towards customers? would you report the employee to the manager or just not go back to the store? I moved to a small town where most people who work in retail look angry and hate their jobs. These stores are normally located in the poor area, however, the rich area seems more friendly and engaging. Is it an individual or socio economic issue?

If it seems isolated to a single employee (I've been there before and never had any problems) and is very bad, yes - I will give feedback to the manager. If I've never been there before or if I consistently get poor service I just take my business elsewhere.

If a merchant does not appreciate my business, I simply go where they do.
