What time does the rush at pizza jobs begin?

I need a second job & I want to work at a pizza place (dominos, pizza hut etc) because it's easy and fun but I get off from my first job at 5pm and wouldn't be able to get to the second job until 5:30. I know business starts to pickup around 4:30 but could I land a job there coming in at 5:30?

Depending on the size of the area, I would think 6-9 pm is the best time for pizza deliveries. Think about it people are also getting home about the same time (around 5, 5:30) and depending on extracurricular activities (church, sports, etc) they might want to hold off and eat dinner later.

That's entirely up to the hiring manager at the pizza shop you apply to. Your busiest days will obviously be Fri & Sat night so you shouldn't have any problem working those hours.
