How do you feel about women taking high paying jobs away from men who are supposed to be the breadwinners?
think we would have a much lower unemployment rate if women would stop going to college for high paying jobs in the business and government sector. If they want to go to college they should pick something with feminine and nurturing qualities like being a nurse. You know what I am saying?

That would have been a reasonable concern back in the 1950's. Keep up.

I know what you are saying. I disagree with your gist. Women have every right to compete with men for top jobs.

If they are the most qualified, why would I feel threatened? I try not to stereotype women into specific roles. After 40 years of working my butt off, I wish my wife could find a high paying job.

This is a different time period. Women, like it or not, do not need men. Men like it or not do not need women. We are all independent individuals, if they want to be CEOs of the manliest industry, why stop them? It's a free country.

I have no problem with women earning high salaries if they can. Nowadays most of them have to support themselves AND any children they may have. My ex was highly qualified but he barely had any decent jobs in over 20 years of marriage as he didn't like working.

Well, it's a lot more difficult to support a family on one income today than it was before. Why does it upset you that women are having high paying jobs too? Afraid of competition?

Well, my wife makes almost 10 times what I do and I gotta say, I don't give a crap. She loves what she does, I love what I do and we have far more than we need. Who gives a crap whose name is on the checks?

Pay men with bread.

I object to the principle that "men are supposed to be the breadwinners" as much as I do to affirmative action. Society as a whole will be better off if positions are filled by those best qualified to fill them - no matter what their personal characteristics may be.

Notice the answers from the liberal men who all admit their women make more than them. HAHA! That is just more proof how they are the "weaker sex" in their relationships. They are too worthless to take care of the woman, so they hook up with a Liberal woman that wants to be a man, and they become pussified so they can... More

The problem we have is women are not held to the same standards as men. Even if that goes against every PC belief. More is expected from men.

Women are taking the higher paying jobs because men are getting lazy. This generation's men care about three things: Eating, sleeping, and sex. It's not rare to find a white-collar, well dressed woman with a blue collar garden variety looking live-in boyfriend.
