benefit for disable adult?

i am trying what are the benefits that an 18 year old person with a disability of autism can get. I am aware of DLA but i want to know as he stays With his parents if they can get council tax rebate,discount from utility companies,a grant towards refurbishing a bathroom for his use and other modification to the house to make life easy for him.as he will never have a permanent job can he claim any other benefits to be able to live his life as he will need money to buy food,clothing and other necessities. He is at present continuing into full time education can he get any benefits to help him with the cost. He is getting some fund from SS for his personal but the amount depend on the assessment. Awaiting reply.

Go to your doctors receptionist and ask her for the phone number of the welfare rights officer, phone him and he/she will come to your house and fill in all the forms you need to get any type of help... More

Just apply to Social Security and they'll assess the whole situation and will then give a decision - which can be challenged if thought to be unfair.

An education and a job. If a person does not pay into the system, they really do not deserve free money. What did the founders of America do with children with disabilities? They took care of them in their homes. American government is not God Almighty.
