Kinda vague add some details / home protection / personal protection / I can tell you this a properly trained personal protection dog will cost you thousands . If you want a dog for home protection , Believe it or not a Junkyard mutt would be just good as any if not better .

I have a large BMC. I would classify him a watchdog (barks loudly at strangers), but not a true guard dog. He will hunt small game relentlessly, but I do not believe he would attack a human being.
