Dropped out of law school with loans. Any forgiveness or discount?

If I dropped out of law school after my first year, can I get any discount on my loans? I currently owe $60,000 and didn't make any payments yet. Any kind of forgiveness for not completing my education? My loan is with nelnet.

Nope. They only forgive student loans if you had to quit school because the school closed suddenly like mid semester or if the school was falsely stating that they were accredited. Or if you are officially permanently 100% disabled according to the government, or dead. You can't get rid of them in bankruptcy court... More
