Helpful information for a Single Mom looking to move out?

Hi! I'm a 20 year old single mom of a 21 month old daughter. I live in New Brunswick, Canada. I'm living in my parents house at the moment, and I'm seriously considering moving out. My father was recently promoted to Sergeant, and with that promotion came a posting. They've been very good to me; they let me move back in after I had her, but I think it's time to move on. I didn't finish high school, although I plan on getting my GED in the near future. I can't work full-time because I can't afford anyone to watch her. As it stands, on I'm social assistance. I pay rent just like everyone else, the only difference is I live at home. I was hoping to get information on what I'd need to move out, similar stories, how much I should save, etc etc. If you have any information based on New Brunswick prices and assistance, I would love to read your comments! Also, there's no need for pointless, rude, and immature comments. Serious answers and comments only please. Thank you in advance!

It is nice that you want to move out, but realistically, you have no way of paying for this. Even a simple monthly budget should make this clear -- rent $600, food $400, baby needs $200, hydro $100, gas/heat $200, cable $100, phone $100, transportation $100, entertainment $200, misc. $200. That is around $2200 a month... More
