My friend has suntrust and he had no money in his card and was able to spend 300-500 bucks with no money?

How is that possible? I thought the card only did that if you bought gas or you have a option to allow draft fees to build up? Anyone know how that's possible? Oh and no it wasn't a credit card.... It was a Debit card

Then your friend has overdraft protection with his bank, and they'll be charging him some fees for what he did. Those fees could be anywhere from $15 to $35 per transaction. Sounds like he does a very poor job of managing his money. Don't follow his example.
