I think it has done damage in the respect that in a lot of cases woman are now expected to work outside the home and do the traditional work such as care for the house, childcare etc. So bascially doubling the workload.

There is not a single thing they did that wasn't destructive (whether intentionally, or unintentionally). Even the obvious things like allowed women more career opportunity, which also contributed to inflation, the breakdown on families, etc. Birth Control, which lead to men not needing to make a commitment...why buy...
