My friend in trouble. Help Please.?

This is about my childhood friend Ria. Please help her guys... She is my childhood friend. She was close to me and shared everything with me. From childhood she has faced so many hardships in her life. Her dad is a very bad irresponsible person. So half the time her mom was struggling to raise her. Her family has financial problems and she had to struggle to get a good school/college to study. So she does not have much friends. She is a very sweet girl and she looks beautiful. She is so low on confidence that she did not realise her beauty and does not even realise that. Some how she completed her studies and got placed in a MNC. Slowly she got some boldness and confidence. First time in my life i saw her happy. She had to move to b'lore for her job that is when she got separated from me. In B'lore she fell in love with a guy. I know that guy because he was my college mate. He is a good guy so I was happy for her. He took care of Ria so well and kept her so happy. But his father did not like Ria so he told him that he will not be happy if he marries Ria. He conveyed this to Ria, she being such a good girl and respected elders too much. So they broke up(Ria herself did not want to go against his parents) Due to a family issue i had to go out of town for a few months and I did not contact her much. Only when I came back last week Ria told about this break up which had happened 3 months ago. Though she had taken a decision to move away from him, she is not able to implement it in real life. She is suffering a lot. She has gone low on her confidence again. From her young age this sweet girl has always yearned for some love and I was so happy when she fell in love with him. But now everything has gone wrong. I dont know how to encourage her. She is not just sad because of this break up. Her mom and dad got separated recently, she is upset because of that too. She is so frustrated with her life that one day, she texted me that she feels like committing suicide. :-( Ria is really a good honest girl and her life has been like a path full of thorns. I just want her to become like what she was before, bold and confident. What should I do? What kind of advice should I give? Suggestions please, I really wanna help my friend.

you should visit her, or make her visit you.. Being in presence of a close friend could do wonders.. Try to distract her with discs and such.. Let her take a break!

WOW!!! Your a good friend. I wish I knew her/you so I can introduce her to my friends. Maybe that is what she needs a change of environment to meet new people. Or she should talk to her religious leader.
