Senior Citizens, what are these new security jobs called where surveillance is hired to watch only the -?

employee who is closest to retiring , on a hidden monitor? Is this a common practice? Also, is this legal? A new hire said his job was heartbreaking,watching 40 hours of one 65 yr old man, just to see him get fired so he won't get his retirement, but it's a job. What would you do in a case like this?

That seems more like Internet myth than reality. Besides that, in America and UK that sort of thing would not be acceptable, whether the business is private or public. It wouldn't surprise me if that was happening where I worked for 25 years and retired from. Seemed like they were trying to run off the ones with at least 20 years of experience and replace them with younger new hires. I retired the first day I became eligible... More

That's called SomeoneWhoWouldStrapADogToACarRoofForATrip, and I bet it's advertised just as a security job until someone is hired.
