Is it safe for me to continue my job as an ICU nurse, now that I have a cardiac pacemaker?

I took my first job as a nurse (I am 25) in an ICU setting. I am currently recovering from the surgery but I am a little nervous about going back to work in the ICU because I am worried that some of the technology that is involved in my job (such as mechanical ventilators, dialysis machines, etc.) might produce enough electromagnetic field to possibly interfere with my pacemaker. I've been warned about cell phones, running car engines, MRI's, etc., but no one yet has said anything specific about whether or not it's actually safe for me to be working so much around all of these machines. I know that humans are constantly being "bathed" in EMF waves by everything around us, but I was curious to know if anyone else has been in my situation, knows anything specific, and if I should start looking for a job in a different, less "technologic-dependent" area? Thanks for any help you can give me!
