Was my friend so bad to tell off school bus driver like this?

I'm 15 and the bus is high school kids. Well my friend told the driver who started yelling at us in general that she (the bus driver) needs to get a real job and one day mostly all of us will have a better job. My friend was got 3 detentions for that. Do you think it was a fair punishment for her to get that? We weren't being that loud at all; she's on our cases alot, I think she is just moody. I have been on louder buses.

I would say yes. Even though I hate annoying bus drivers as much as the next guy, she is still an adult and your friend needs to respect her. I mean, I totally agree with what she said, but the driver is still in charge. She was probably yelling becuz u all were talkin really loud and it was really hard to focus on hee... More

Lol what a stupid move. Seems like most kids are smarter than that... Lol, I think she deserves that punishment just because she didn't think that through so well.

I guess, depending on how much of a ***** the bus driver normally is. if she had a real reason to yell at you then yeah its fair, but if she yells for no reason all the time, then good for your friend

she was disrespectful, and you guys probably deserved to get yelled at. just grow up, life can be hard sometimes, and the bus driver may have a really hard life, and dealing with annoying kids that think they're all cool is hard enough without some girl that thinks she knows how life is telling her that she should get... it was fair cause that was very disrespectful to someone that was clearly older than her.

In my school district your friend would have been walking to school for the rest of the year. To some people there is no better job than being a school bus driver and carrying the responsibility of so many young lives. Most school bus drivers would do the job for free if it came right down to it.
