Do you believe the US hinders other countries abilities to develop and improve their living standards?
With our high consumption of fossil fuels? The technology of which is older and cheaper? Our huge demand (20% of world total) matched with our high incomes means we can bid up the price and always get the product. If we consumed less oil, wouldn't it become cheaper for other countries? Aren't we the ones who can afford the more expensive green technology?
