Do you live in Houston, do you like the city?

I;m thinking about moving to Houston in a couple of years. My family is in South Florida, but no jobs down there and houses still expensive. Would like to know more about the city, etc. I'm an Electronic Tech, presently living in New Jersey. I know Houston is perhaps the best manufacturing city in the country where I would be able to land a job and buy a cheap house. Thanks for your feedback...bye...Max

The cost of living is lower here than New Jersey and while the housing market is on the rebound here, it is still a buyers market. Check out The Woodlands, Texas. Actually it's best if you find a job before moving here. There are too many people moving here without jobs that can't find one in their field. Houston isn't the solution to the world's job situation. There are only so many to go around.
