What jobs allow you to travel and live in foreign countries?

I really want to travel to European and Asian countries as part of my job, and live there for like a few years or something, because I love getting to know other cultures. I want to be able to make a decent living, too, so by the time I;m 30 I have a stable career and can have a family. I'm thinking like artist or diplomat or something, but does anyone have any other jobs that would work?

For all the benefits of being an artist, "stability" is not one of them. Artists are self-employed, and rely upon sales of their work for income. There are no benefits, no retirement, and no predictable income on which to base budgets, get loans, or build credit... More
