Is stock market speculation just another form of derivatives?

Further proof that the rising gas prices have nothing to do with supply or demand. "Fadel Gheit, senior energy analyst at Oppenheimer, told us he blames speculators for adding "at a minimum" $20 per barrel to the price of oil." Are they messing with the market the same way they did it in 2008? "The CEO of ExxonMobil (XOM) believes speculation could be driving up oil prices by as much as 40 percent a barrel." http://finance.yahoo.com/blogs/daily-ticker/4-gas-no-justification-high-prices-says-fmr-160209651.html Neither derivatives traders, nor speculators, produce anything or add any sort of value to the products. They are simply parasites.

Yes the speculators are messing with prices just like before the last crash. It's worse than Las Vegas. "They" control the odds. They control the horizontal and the vertical. Do not adjust your TV. The media controls the focus. Welcome to the Twilight Zone. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzlG28B-R8Y
